Our Story

Born from a closer look.

As optometrists, we'd spent years helping people see clearly. But we kept noticing something else: people were asking about their skin while they waited for their eye exams. Dark circles. Fine lines. Texture around the eyes. The skin was telling a story, and they wanted help.

There was a gap. People wanted real, transformative skincare—done by practitioners who genuinely understand skin, not just salespeople. Medical-grade treatments backed by science.

Out of this, Look Skin was born. Together as a team, we partnered with AlumierMD and GM Collin, brought in experienced medical aestheticians, and built a place where skin is treated as seriously as eyes. Where your skin is finally seen.

The Symbol

A certified Medical Aesthetician with over 6 years of clinical experience, Mayada brings deep expertise and genuine passion to every treatment. Her journey began with a simple goal: helping people feel confident in their skin.

She built a spa from the ground up as Spa Manager at Wahous Wilderness Lodge in Tofino—creating treatment menus, sourcing products, and delivering exceptional care. As Head Medical Aesthetician at Transitions Medi Spa, she specialized in advanced treatments from chemical peels to microneedling.

Her hands-on expertise spans medical-grade facials, laser treatments, hydrafacials, microdermabrasion, lymphatic drainage, and body contouring. But what sets her apart is how deeply she cares—listening to each client and recommending what truly works.

Rachel joined the Look family in 2025, bringing her medical aesthetics background into the world of dry eye care. She specializes in IPL—working closely with clients to address the root causes of their concerns and support long-term skin and eye health.

Her approach is rooted in precision and genuine attention. Whether she's treating pigmentation, redness, or vascular concerns, Rachel takes the time to understand each client's skin and build a plan that delivers real, lasting results.

An athlete at heart, Rachel brings energy and discipline to everything she does. Outside the studio, she loves skincare, travel, and never says no to pho or shahi paneer.
